Pep talks
Scott Cacciola from the Memphis Commercial Appeal did a couple of great articles about what goes on in the locker room at halftime when coaches make their speeches. Jere Longman from the New York Times has an interesting article about the A-11 offense which takes advantage of a high school rule loop hole that creates an offense where every player on the field is a potential eligible receiver. This offense has been described as watching basketball on grass and the natural evolution of the spread offense. Every fan that is clamoring for the scalp of their coach needs to keep one thing in mind. You will have to hire a new coach and prospective recruits will want to know where the program is heading.
